Saigon Open Hearts is a non profit venture composed of a body of international supporters who have come together for the purpose of giving and promoting education, health and wellness to improve the quality of life for others through charitable work. It is funded and managed by the Team of the International Buddhist Society.
Open your hearts to our Volunteer Program and come and teach English. We would host and help you find work. You can participate in our charity projects: Teach English at temples, cook and feed elders, play with orphans, and many more other monthly trips to remote areas to deliver rice, to help build homes for the poor, etc.
Ho Chi Minh City (formerly known as Saigon) is a vibrant and ever changing. It was once a talked and covered in movies for the Vietnam War and it is now a one of the hub in the Southeast Asia with economic growth and much more.
We will set up scooter rentals or help you with Grab/Go Viet drivers. For a few $ dollars you can get around city throughout the day.

Thao Dien Q2 District is host to cafes, bakeries, restaurants, traditional food delicacies creative art projects and a developing waterfront along the Saigon River. Many expats and ESL instructors live in this district. Tan Son Nhat International Airport is approximately 6 miles away and Ho Chi Minh City Center is approximately 5 miles away, a commune living arrangement.
